Congrats to George and Chris in San Jose! George took 6th in the Y12 and Chris took 7th in the Y10 event! Pictures to be posted soon!

hi everybody, this is Jared. i couldn't resist using an alias here but i think that either people should use their real names or post here who they are so we can know who is posting things. i think its pretty obvious that James is James, but who is onlyafleshwound, for example.

anyway, i think this is a really good idea for the club and i hope everyone gets an account soon. this should help foster an even stronger community mindset.

Two more medals for the club!

Congratulations to Cait and Olivia for their medals in the Y14 women's saber event at Colorado! Cait took home a silver and Olivia took the bronze! If anyone has any pictures from the event please post them!

Alex wins a medal

Congratulations to Alex for his 8th place finish in the Y14 Saber event. He helped make us the only club to get two fencers in the top 8 in that event!

Nick wins a bronze

Congratulations to Nick for his fantastic fencing at the Colorado Springs Super Youth Circuit! Nick tied for third in the Y14 mens saber event.

Ok, so snowboarding before the tournament was not the best idea... But Connor didn't let it bother him, he fenced great and took home a bronze medal in the Y12 event.

How to post a video to the Blog

Neither the site nor the blog has the free space to host a video but there is a service called YouTube that will host the video and allow you to post it here, as I have done.(I will load a fencing video once I have one, until then you all get to watch a vidoe of Sofia) Once you sign up with them you can upload a video and it will give you a block of code and a link. Copy and paste that code in the text area on the create page for your post and when you publish it you will see the video here. If you post the link then when you click the link it will take you to the site instead of playing the video in the blog.

Welcome to the Team Blog

We have set this up so that club members can post information and pictures to share with the rest of the club. If you want to contribute please see Coach or James and one of them will be able to create you an account, or just email James at jameshenningson@comcast.net You can post Text, Images and Video to the blog, also if you have a picture phone you can post directly from your phone to the blog with very little set up.
There are some basic rules to follow. First this is visible to the whole world so be polite, Second the Blog is for the club but not limited to fencing, feel free to post pictures or content about anything you are doing. Got strait A's Post it! Win an award at school, post it! Do something fun with the team after the tournament, post it!
